A nascent blog directory, iBlogBusiness, has recently launched to serve people looking specifically for business blogs.
The concept isn’t revolutionary, but it could become a good resource for those looking for other business blogs.
Since adding your own blog is free, it’s probably worth the two minutes it takes to submit your URL to iBlogBusiness.
Getting quality incomings is essential to good search engine ranking; since iBlogBusiness hasn’t been around long enough to provide good PageRank, you should also submit to the blog directories listed in Robin Good’s Best Blog Directory and RSS Submission Sites page.
Thanks for the tip.

It looks like one more nice little place to submit your business blog to. I just hope the people running it keep it fresh and up-to-date – I don’t think a lot of those who register their blogs will remember to return and make any changes.

Thanks for posting this Rich. I registered my two blogs. I have not done much in the way of submitting to blog directories.
I’m not expecting much from this one since it has a PR of zero and is clearly very new.
Can anyone suggest other blog directories that are worthwhile for a business blog? Anyone getting real traffic from a directory?

Interesting. I was just checking out the iBlogBusiness site and saw that they’ve had about 6 new links a day added, but today, they have 47.
Looks like your post gave them a nice boost.

Thanks Rich for the nice write-up and kind words about our new directory. We are very appreciative of advocates such as yourself, which will continue to help our cause “making a great resource for the business blogosphere” possible.
Regarding one of the comments above, our goal is to upkeep the directory as “spam free as humanly possible and update it on a regular basis. At this time, we have no plans for accepting advertising in the near future. As the directory grows, we’ll have to look for the resources necessary to upkeep the business blog directory or look for other means to keep it editorialized. However, the last thing we want is a directory that isn’t utilized as a good resource and looks like an advertising zone…you know like the zillions of others out there:)
Page rank is no doubt important. And hopefully as others (like Rich) support our cause we’ll continue to grow page rank too.
Thanks again for your support:)
Christian

Thanks for the tip Rich, I’ll be sure to add that directory to our Monster Blog Directory list which has the “submit” URLS of all the major blog and RSS directories.
